"Leave what
you have doubt about for that you have no doubt about; for it is truth
that brings peace of mind and it is falsehood that brings doubt".
Abu
Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Ali b. Abu Talib said : I preserved these words from
Rasulullah
(
Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i )
the Essence of
the Holy Qur'an
In the Name
of Allāh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
2. All the praises and thanks be to Allāh, the Lord of the
'Alamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
4. The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense
(i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
5. You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and
everything).
7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace , not (the way)
of those who earned Your Anger , nor of those who went astray .
The
name of this religion is Islam, the root of which is Silm and Salam which
means peace. Salam may also mean greeting one another with peace. One of
the beautiful names of God is that He is the Peace. It means more than
that: submission to the One God, and to live in peace with the Creator,
within one's self, with other people and with the environment. Thus, Islam
is a total system of living. A Muslim is supposed to live in peace and
harmony with all these segments; hence, a Muslim is any person anywhere
in the world whose obedience, allegiance, and loyalty are to God, the Lord
of the Universe.
